Everything you need to know about using a hot tub
Recommended water temperature is 37–40°C. Do not exceed 42°C — water that is too hot can be dangerous to health. Use a thermometer to monitor the temperature.
Heating the water takes 2–4 hours depending on outside temperature and tub size. Faster in summer, longer in winter. Use dry firewood for best results.
Small hot tub: up to 4–6 people
Large hot tub: up to 10 people
Do not exceed the maximum capacity — it affects safety and comfort.
Wash yourself before entering the hot tub. Do not use soap, shampoo or other chemicals in the hot tub.
To maintain temperature, add wood as needed. Open the stove door carefully — spark hazard! Do not leave the stove unattended when children are nearby.
Water level must always cover the stove. When people enter the tub, the water level rises — account for this when filling. Too low water level can damage the stove!
Drinking alcohol in hot water increases the risk of dehydration and dizziness. Be moderate! People with heart and blood pressure problems should consult a doctor before use.
Using a hot tub in winter is especially enjoyable! Keep in mind that heating takes longer. Remove the rear plug of the stove to prevent freezing. Prepare warm towels and slippers.
Children under 12 may use the hot tub only under adult supervision. The suitable temperature for children is no more than 37°C. Keep children away from the stove and chimney.
